I created Kreashan because I wanted to make movement easier, more accessible, and more rewarding for everyone.

For years I worked in the corporate world, but something was missing. Yoga had always been my passion, and eventually I decided to follow it - to retrain as a yoga teacher and share the benefits I’d found.

It was during that journey, while helping my mum into a pose, that the idea came to me. She needed extra support, and although we tried using a yoga block and strap together, it just wasn’t working. I remember thinking, what if the strap could go through the block itself?

That simple thought wouldn’t leave me. With the help of my husband Manish - who even cut up one of our foam blocks with a kitchen knife to make the first prototype (he still has the scar to prove it!) - we built what would later become the Smart Block.

​

From there, everything grew. What started as an idea for helping my mum turned into something much bigger. The Smart Block does everything a normal block can, but the integrated strap unlocks so much more: deeper stretches, greater strength, safer rehab, and more effective workouts.

I’ve seen my parents use it for gentle stretches. I’ve seen studios introduce it into yoga and Pilates classes. I’ve seen physios use it in rehab, and wellness practitioners bring it into their holistic health programmes. That’s when I knew this could make a real difference.

Kreashan is named after my two boys, Eashan and Krishan, because this is very much a family journey. But at its heart, it’s my way of helping more people move, recover, and live healthier lives.
